Tourism Trade of Seychelles in India to claim their fair share of that important source market


Tourism enterprises wanting a greater share of the Indian tourism market are in Chennai and Bangalore this week, in what is being promoted as a Seychelles Roadshow. The delegation of hotels and airlines is being accompanied by Minister Alain St.Ange, the Seychelles Minister responsible for Tourism and Culture as well as Sherin Naiken, the CEO of the Seychelles Tourism Board and Amia Javanovic-Desir, a senior marketing staff at the Tourism Board, Sunil Mathapati and Aswini Krishna of the Tourism Board’s India Office. The Seychelles Honorary Consul of Seychelles in Chennai, Mr M. S. Sai also joined the delegation in Chennai.

Also accompanying Minister St.Ange on this working trip to India is a delegation from the business trading community including Ramu Pillay, Kannan Pillay, Shanmugam Pillay, Durai Pillay, Nadesh Pillay and Palani Basha.

A successful Roadshow was organised in Chennai on Wednesday the 8th June and the following members of the Seychelles tourism trade and airlines were on hand to meet the travel trade of Chennai
